CVI – Hotel

HOUSESTAFF/HEAVY DUTY CLEANER

Description:

Stocks and maintains linen on GRA carts throughout the day.  Take soiled linens to laundry and return clean linens to storage areas. Empty soiled linens and glasses collected from GRA carts. Maintain public areas, shampoo carpets, stock storage rooms and maintain cleanliness of pool areas and hallways.

Requirements:

Heavy lifting. Must have a valid Nevada driver’s license and clear driving record   Have good communication and customer service skills. Experience in cleaning and operation of carpet extractors experience preferred. Must be good in public areas working with guests.

Shift:

Day shift, full-time. Weekend and Holiday work required.

LAUNDRY ATTENDANT

Description:

Clean and maintain company sheets, towels and linens. Run washers, dryers and press machine.

Requirements:

Heavy lifting required. Prior laundry experience preferred. Need to be physical all day. Must be productive and reliable.

Shift:

Swing shift/Full-time. Weekend and Holiday work required.

NIGHT AUDITOR/FRONT DESK CLERK

Description:

Job requires to audit daily work and to work hotel front desk with checking in and out guests. Previous hotel desk and audit experience preferred.  

Requirements:

Computer experience required.  Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.  Work well under pressure. .

Shift:

Varied shifts /Full-time. Shifts are 2 Graveyard and 3 swing shifts. Weekend and Holiday work required.

BAKER

Description:

Responsible for assisting the Bakery Supervisor in quality production and presentation on all bakery items including pies, cakes, breads and specialty desserts for use in the Food and Beverage Department.

Requirements:

1-year previous baking experience preferred. Must possess attention to detail, in order to produce high quality and consistent products. Must be able to read and cost recipes.  Team player. Must be able to read, speak, understandand write English.

Shift:

Full-time.  Weekend and Holiday work required.

BANQUET ASSISTANT

Description:

Setup/Teardown of Banquet Events, heavy lifting, move chairs and tables.  

Requirements:

Be a detailed and self-motivated person. Must be at least 21 years old.  Excellent customer service skills required.  Audio Visual knowledge preferred.

Shift:

On call/Varied shifts, Weekend and Holiday work required.

COFFEE BAR ATTENDANT – JOB’S PERK

Description:

Responsible for preparing and selling assorted coffee beverages and snacks for guests in Job’s Perk.

Requirements:

Must have excellent customer service and communication skills. Must be at least 21 years old.

COOK – CV STEAK

Description:

Responsible for preparing superior food quality and service in a high volume steak house.

Requirements:

Must be able to read, speak, understand and write English. Previous Hotel/Casino steakhouse/fine dining experience preferred.  High school graduate or G.E.D., culinary apprenticeship or culinary school graduate. Possess and maintains culinary tools to perform the necessary job functions. Able to work at a high rate of speed and accuracy. Must be able to maintain a positive, helpful, smiling attitude at all times. Able to lift 50 plus pounds on occasion.

COOK – KATIE’S, BREAKFAST AND SWING

Description: Responsible for food preparation for Katie’s, our high-volume, 24 hour restaurant. Prepare food items per ticket order as required and to current menu specifications for guests of Katie’s
Requirements: Possess and maintains culinary tools to perform the necessary job functions. Previous high volume hotel restaurant/casino or individual restaurants experience preferred. DISHWASHER/KITCHEN CLEANING STAFF

Description:

Dishwasher duties are Cleaning of company china, silverware and pots and pans according to industry standards and health/sanitation codes.  Sweeping, mopping, emptying garbage. Kitchen deep cleaner duties are deep cleaning of stoves, ovens and hood, etc.

Requirements:

Team player, self motivated. Able to lift 50 pounds. Bilingual a plus.

Shift:

Varied shifts/full-time. Weekend and holiday work required.

HOST/CASHIER – KATIE’S

Description:

Promptly and courteously greet and seat guests. Perform cashier duties for departing guests.

Requirements:

LEAD BAKER

Description:

Lead Baker is a hands on Baker who oversees quality production and presentation with all bakery items, including; pies, cakes, breads and specialty desserts for use in the Food and Beverage department. Reports to Executive Chef. Responsible for supervision of two other Bakery team members.

Requirements:

3- years previous bakery and supervision experience preferred in a commercial Bakery. Casino Industry preferred.Must possess attention to detail in order to produce high quality and consistent product. Must be able to read and cost recipes. Team player, must be able to read, speak, understand and write English. Able to communicate well with Department Managers and Culinary Team Members.

Shift:

Full-time. Weekend and Holiday work required.

CVI – General

CARSON VALLEY INN MARKET CLERK/CASHIER

Description:

Greet customers and operate register for customer check-out.

Requirements:

Stocking shelves and general cleaning such as mopping floors and keeping restrooms clean.  Excellent customer service skills required. Must be at least 21 years old.

Shift:

Part-time/Varied shifts. Weekend and Holiday work required.

ENGINEER

Description: Duties include being able to perform a variety of tasks in one or more trades in building maintenance and repairs for hotel and casino.
Requirements: Ability to perform maintenance in the following areas including but not limited to: Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and welding, ability to use hand and power tools, perform manual labor and perform preventative maintenance on pumps, motors, HVAC. Perform other duties as assigned. Must have a valid Nevada driver’s license and clear driving record. Able to read and write in English. Good communication and customer service skills.
Shift: Full-time, Day & Swing shifts. Weekend and Holiday work required.

OUTSIDE MAINTENANCE

Description:

Position is outside maintenance. Pull weeds, pick up trash, repair sprinkler system, be able to lift 50 lbs.

Requirements:

Duties also include janitorial, landscaping, building maintenance and flags. Must have a valid Nevada driver’s license and a good driving record.  High school graduate or equivalent with 3 years preferred.

Shift:

Full-time/Day shift. Weekend and Holiday work required.

 PUBLIC AREA CLEANING SPECIALIST

Description: Responsible for the deep cleaning of the public areas of the casino.
Requirements: Heavy lifting required. Must be at least 21 years old. Must be good in public areas working with guests.  Needs to be physically active for entire shift. Previous cleaning experience preferred.
Shift: Full-time.  Swing shifts available. Weekends and Holidays work required.

REVENUE/ACCOUNTING CLERK

Description:

Team player responsible for auditing revenue outlets including gaming on a daily basis.

Requirements:

Prior gaming audit experience preferred. Food and Beverage audit experience a plus. Computer skills including Excel skills a must; requires math skills and attention to detail.  Must be at least 21 years old. Gaming card required.

Shift:

Full time. Must be flexible and able to work weekends and holidays.

SECURITY OFFICER

Description: Assists with guest safety and service.  Assists various departments with operational matters. Excellent customer service skills required
Requirements: Previous experience preferred. Must be at least 21 years old. Gaming Card required.

GAMES DEALER

Description:

Deal Casino game or games as directed by policies and procedures.

Requirements:

One year minimum experience required. Must be at least 21 years old. Gaming card required.  Must have friendly outgoing personality and be able to work any shift, weekends and holidays included.

Shift:

Part-time/Varied shifts.

GUEST SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Description:

Duties include guest services for the casino including cashiering and Player club activities.

Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years old. Previous cash handling or Cage experience is preferred.  Excellent guest service skills and gaming card required.

Shift:

Varied shifts/Full time. Shift is 2 graveyard shifts and 2 late swing shifts. Must be flexible in scheduling. Weekend and Holiday work required.

SLOT FLOOR PERSON/COCKTAIL SERVER

Description:

Serves drinks to players, fixes slots machines, pays out Jackpots.

Requirements:

Excellent customer service skills. No experience required. Will train. Must be at least 21 years old.  Money handling. Gaming card required.

COOK

Description:

Responsible for food preparation for the Jackpot Cafe. Prepare food items per ticket order as required and to current menu specifications for guests of Sharkey’s.

Duties also include the cleaning of the outside of the casino. Duties are sweeping, trash pickup, cleaning of the glass on the doors, use of the  leaf blower and snow removal. Heavy lifting required. Must be at least 21 years old. Must be good in public areas working with guests.  Needs to be physically active for entire shift. Previous cleaning experience preferred.

SERVERS – JACKPOT CAFE

Description:

Responsible for selling and serving food and beverages to guests.

Description:

Quality driven concerning service, team work and operation factors. Detail oriented in all aspects of the F&B operations. Ability to multitask with excellent communication and customer service skills. Team leader, coach and mentor. Ability to engage customers.

DEEP CLEANING SPECIALIST

Description:

Responsible for the deep cleaning of the public areas and back of house kitchen areas of the casino.
