Public Area Cleaner | $16.50hr ($17 graveyard shift)
- Promote positive guest relations by projecting a courteous, helpful attitude
- Pick up trash/replace trash liners, empty ashtrays, refill paper/liquid product dispensers, assist with snow removal and furniture moving as needed
- Wipe down/sanitize all surfaces, dust fixtures, clean walls and vents, vacuum, remove mats in bars and kitchens, sweep and mop floors
- Perform heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors and shampooing rugs
- Must identify and respond immediately to any hazardous material in work area
- Adhere to all safety rules and requirements and all policies and procedures
- Regularly provide information to management regarding guest reactions, comments, or problems that may arise and any safety/appearance concerns throughout the casino to ensure a quality and safe environment
- Show willingness and effort to work as a team
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Must be at least 21
- Ability to courteously and efficiently interact with fellow employees, management and guests to ensure a positive experience
- Must pay attention to detail including cleanliness and safety
- Ability to move, transport and operate heavy-duty or industrial type equipment such as vacuums, blowers, extractors and rotary shampooers
- Ability to communicate effectively and listen attentively
- Respond positively to changes in locations, assignments and priorities
- Ability to move trash cart from work areas to unload in dumpster
- Must follow verbal and written directions, policies, and procedures
- Ability to lift, handle and carry a minimum of 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, kneel, stand, walk and exert well-paced mobility during entire shift
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
