Why the CVI for Business Events?

Ever been to a meeting, seminar, or conference where you start by parking two or three blocks away in a garage that costs you $20-$50 a day? Then you go into a sterile conference hall where there might be a few small windows in the hallway that give you a peek of the city streets below? Snacks are way overpriced, the vending machines eat your change, and your cell phone doesn’t work because the structure is too big! And when the day is over, it’s a four-block walk or a short cab ride back to your hotel for an $11 cocktail and then a “mini-ordeal” to figure out where to go for your $65+ dinner? Anyone in business has been there . . . but the Carson Valley Inn offers an entirely different alternative!

On the trip to the Carson Valley Inn, you’ll enjoy an inspirational drive through or near the scenic Sierra Nevada Range before arriving at our rural Carson Valley setting. Our free parking is just a few steps away from the hotel entrance. Every meeting break offers you the opportunity to stick your head outside and enjoy the agricultural surroundings, the snow-capped mountains on either side of the valley and the crisp, clear high-desert air. Then for dinner, if your function doesn’t include a banquet in our convention center, we offer two very reasonably priced restaurants followed by free nightly Cabaret Lounge entertainment – why go any further!

More and more small-meeting planners are finding out that the Carson Valley Inn is an ideal setting for meeting productivity, participant satisfaction and great value. Plus, it’s never difficult to convince a top-level speaker to come to our area when you can “sweeten the pot” with our rural setting and abundant golf, skiing and other area recreation.
